3D Skintech Facial
Want smoother looking skin and a healthy glow? Want to reduce pigmentation?
3D Skintech is a 4-step treatment programme for age management that combines the latest clinical technologies.
The four steps of the treatment are:
Step 1 - Radio Frequency
Using the latest Tripolar technology, this is a pain-free treatment for skin tightening with visible results.
Step 2 - Rotational Diamond Microdermabrasion
This combines the latest in adjustable, rotational control with variable vacuum to ensure a precise yet comfortable service.
Step 3 - Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy breaks down the cell wall to allow specific treatment ingredients to be delivered where they are needed most. Hailed as the next generation from dermal rollers, this treatment produces a similar result to dermal fillers, but it is pain-free and does not use any needles.
Step 4 - LED Colour Therapy
Four colours of light (red, blue, green or yellow) are delivered via a full facial canopy to provide the specific weight, temperature, wavelength, density and energy needed to stimulate the skin at a cellular level.
What are the benefits?
The microdermabrasion element helps promote skin cell renewal and improves fine lines while exfoliating the top layers of dead skin cells and reducing pores. Radio frequency treatment helps to tighten skin layers and create smoother, healthier-looking skin, while the LED Colour Therapy provides a wide range of benefits including skin hydration, improved circulation, age management and treatment for acne.
What is the downtime?
This treatment does not require any downtime. You may return to normal activities straight after your treatment.
Are there any possible side effects?
You may develop some slight redness and sensitivity. The LED Colour Therapy element of the treatment may result in nausea or headache.
How many treatments do I need for best results?
On average, a course of six treatments is required every 7 to 10 days, followed by maintenance treatments. Your practitioner will create a personalised course of treatment to meet your needs.
Do not use exfoliators, face masks or glycolic products for 24 hours prior to the treatment.
You will need to allow a minimum of 2 weeks following IPL skin rejuvenation, hair removal or superficial/highly superficial chemical peels (laser resurfacing or a medium depth chemical peel will require a minimum of 4 weeks) or until the skin has returned to normal.
A minimum of 2 weeks will be required following skin injectable treatments (including dermal fillers or Botox).
Avoid the use of sunbeds and self-tanning products for a minimum of 7 days.
Avoid using any form of depilation in the area to be treated for a minimum of 3 days prior to the treatment, e.g. waxing, threading etc.
You will need to allow a minimum of 4 weeks after you have had a permanent or semi-permanent tattoo (including microblading) in the area(s) to be treated.
Please note that it is advisable to notify your practitioner, with a minimum of 7 days’ notice prior to each treatment, if there are any changes to your health or medication.
It is common for the area to appear red and sensitised for several hours and for up to 10 days following radio frequency.
Avoid heating the treatment area for a minimum of 48 hours after treatment or while heat remains in the skin. This includes physical activity, saunas, hot bath/shower, alcohol etc. and/or the application of further treatments.
Smoking will negate the effects of the radio frequency treatment. Avoid smoking for the duration of the course of treatment.
Increase your intake of water and exclude all stimulants for the rest of the day/night e.g. caffeinated beverages.
Do not use a sun bed or apply self-tan on the area during the course of treatment. Use SPF 50+ sunscreen daily and avoid exposure to UVA/UVB for the duration of the course of treatment.
Note: A minimum application of 14 days is imperative following diamond rotational microdermabrasion.
Avoid the application of any additional products to the area for a minimum of 48 hours. This includes cosmetics (unless mineral) and skincare products other than the professional products recommended to you by your practitioner.
